The house stands right next to the pebble beach in Smokvina bay on the southern side of the island of Hvar. It is 20 km from Sučuraj ferry port. The nearest village of Bogomolje is a 4.5 km drive on well-maintained macadam. In the bay there is one of the nicest pebble beaches on the island. It is 100 m wide with fine pebbles and a gradual descent, ideal even for small children. It is used only by the guests of the three houses that stand by the beach. The bay is calm and suitable for mooring your own boat. The owner fishes almost every day. You can try fishing with nets, harpoons and cages with him, or arrange with him a day trip by boat to the islands of Šćedro or Korčula, for example. You can also rent a motor boat for a fee. The owner Nikola brings groceries to his guests according to their requirements from the store in the village of Bogomolje. A great advantage is the possibility of ordering excellent Dalmatian specialties and island eco products directly in the neighboring house (see Robinson house Stella) Electric energy in the house is solar. The water in the building is only for domestic use. It is in the storage tank behind the house, it flows freely, has less pressure and you need to save as much as possible with it. It is necessary to buy your own drinking water. The house consists of two parts - Vlado and Milivoj. Apartments Vlado are completely newly equipped. You park your car at the beginning of the bay, just a few meters from the beach.
